Your information, explained.

When you browse

The site does not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Debate pages count visits, referred visits, explainer completions and share actions in daily totals. Those totals contain no visitor identity, IP address, email or full referring URL. They are event counts, not unique people. The browser honours Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track for these optional counts. Hosting and sign-in are provided through ChatGPT Sites and may process technical and account information under their own terms.

When you sign in

The server receives your authenticated email and, when available, name from the hosting service. Your email is used to derive an internal account identifier and to check editor access. It is not displayed on public questions or public responses.

What the site stores

• Submitted text, chosen display name, category, source link, intended recipient and review status.
• Which questions your account supports, candidate verification requests and responses, structured positions and commitments, collaboration offers, and business/event/organization submissions.
• Pages you choose to save.
• Submission and update times, moderation records and abuse-prevention counters.

Your public display name and approved text are visible on published contributions. Accepted candidate and official statements, earlier published revisions and sourced milestones remain part of the attributable public record. The current accepted version stays public while a new draft is reviewed. Withdrawing an accepted answer adds a withdrawal marker. Pending contributions are available to their submitter and editors. Verification evidence, private review notes and bookmark lists are not public.

Private website feedback

Signed-in improvement requests are stored privately with your account, source links and progress. Authorized editors may review them using AI tools to prepare proposals. The publisher approves an exact proposal before work begins. Your request never directly instructs an AI to change the site. Reviews and approval history are private; you can see your request status and completed outcome in My improvement requests. Feedback is retained until you delete your contribution data. Deletion also removes its private review history. Do not include sensitive personal information or passwords.

Private error reports

You can report an error without signing in. The page address, report, source link and optional reply email are stored separately for authorized editors. They are not published, attached to your account or included in My activity. Review notes and report history are private. To request removal, submit a new private report with your receipt reference and request; editors must verify requests before changing a report.

Abuse-prevention counters use a daily digest of the connection address where available, never the raw address in a report. Counters expire after 24 hours and are cleared on subsequent submissions. Reports remain in the private editorial queue until the publisher removes them; no automatic deletion period has been set.

Control your contribution data

My activity provides a JSON export and deletion for private drafts, personal activity, votes and saved pages. Accepted candidate and official statements retain their attributable public history after account deletion; the account connection and private verification evidence are removed. A removed resident question becomes a blank removal notice if another person has already published an answer. Otherwise it and its attached support are deleted. Non-public moderation audit records and temporary abuse-prevention counters may remain.

External content

External links open the publisher’s site. A YouTube player loads only if you choose to play an interview; YouTube then processes that interaction under its policies.

Browser preferences

The decorative-motion preference is stored locally on your device. Public counts and submissions are stored on the server, rather than being simulated in browser storage.
