  • The $6 million 2026 expenditure allocation includes $5.4 million carryforward and $600,000 new funding. The financed 2026 amount is $3,683,631; the difference reflects financing timing. Later multi-year award recommendations are recorded separately. The March 11 agenda recommends a $13,267,340 construction award, a separate $940,110 engineering-inspection award, and future commitments of $5,815,746 in 2027 and $2,843,900 in 2028. Those future commitments are stated as included in the construction price; do not add them to it. Why are there different County totals?

The detailed 2026 budget lists $279,035,275 in operating expenses and $127,855,640 in financed capital: $406,890,915 combined. The $103,039,171 property-tax requirement is a different measure, after other funding.
